Luanda, Angola — This week marked a significant milestone for the cybersecurity community as Luanda played host to the 3rd annual CyberSecur Summit. Taking center stage where our very own Ilyas Esmail, CEO of Forefront, not only participated as a key speaker but also showcased our dedication as one of the main sponsors of the event.
The CyberSecur Summit has evolved over the years to become a seminal event in the calendar for cybersecurity professionals worldwide. This year's summit, held under the overarching theme ''Cybersecurity on a Rising Continent'', provided an invaluable platform to explore the evolving ''African Panorama in relation to Information Security'' and delve deep into ''The Challenges of Information Security in Angola''.
Ilyas's talk on "The future of cybersecurity: Zero Trust & Cloud Security" was a highlight of the event, shedding light on the critical components shaping the future of digital protection. His insights resonated with the audience, stirring engaging conversations around the practical implications of these concepts in today's dynamic threat landscape.
With over 300 participants, 40+ speakers, 20+ sessions, and 15 exhibitors, the CyberSecur Summit was teeming with energy, insights, and collaborative spirit. The talks, case studies, and panel discussions offered a comprehensive view of the latest threats and the best practices to counteract them.
Beyond the sessions and talks, the Summit offered attendees the chance to engage with leading experts, forge new partnerships, and explore innovative solutions at various exhibitor booths. Our own booth became a hub of activity, with visitors keen to understand our latest offerings and how we are pushing the boundaries in cybersecurity.
The 2023 edition of the CyberSecur Summit was an unequivocal success. A gathering of bright minds, pioneering solutions, and collaborative energies all focused on one goal - enhancing cybersecurity on a continent that's rising and evolving rapidly.
