To ensure we fulfill our service commitments to you, there are essential hardware and software standards you'll need to meet. We regularly review and update these standards to keep pace with technological advancements and retirements.

Should your existing setup fall short of these minimum requirements before your agreement begins, we're here to devise a plan that elevates your network to meet our criteria. Recognizing the constraints of timing and budget, we pledge our support towards upgrading any non-compliant components.

However, if support is requested for items not meeting our minimum standards, the decision to charge for such support or to refuse support altogether rests solely with us.

Hardware Requirements

  • Servers
    • Maximum age of 5 years
    • Equipped with a supported operating system and valid licenses
    • Under warranty from the manufacturer or an authorized service provider
  • Desktops and Laptops
    • Business-grade models from:
      • Microsoft (Surface series)
      • Apple
      • Dell (XPS or Latitide series)
      • Lenovo (Think or Carbon series)
      • Other models may be considered if recommended by us
    • Features a solid-state drive as the primary storage
    • Powered by an Intel Core i5 processor or better
    • No older than 3 years, or up to 5 years with active warranty
    • Runs Windows 11 Pro or newer, with proper licensing
    • In good physical condition
  • Network Infrastructure
    • Ubiquiti firewall (Dream Machine Pro, or equivalent)
    • Enterprise-grade UniFi switches and access points
    • Up-to-date, functional cabling (Cat5e or superior)
    • Adequate space and cooling in the network room or designated area

Software Requirements

  • All installed software must be supported and properly licensed.
  • Business-critical applications should have an active support agreement with the vendor.

Approved Software List

This includes software authorized for installation on devices covered under this agreement. Other software installations will be subject to our discretion for service coverage under this agreement. The list is subject to adjustments over our partnership.

  • Software included in your subscription, unless specified otherwise.
  • Microsoft Software – Microsoft Office Suite
  • Google Chrome
  • Adobe Reader and Acrobat
Disallowed Software List

We will actively seek and remove any software from covered devices that we, or our automated tools, identify as a security threat. This policy reflects our commitment to maintaining your IT security.

  • Peer-to-Peer or file-sharing applications (e.g., Limewire, Bittorrent)
  • System optimization and driver update tools (e.g., Slimware, Iolo, Ashampoo)
  • Non-approved antivirus or security software (e.g., AVG, MalwareBytes)
  • Remote access tools not sanctioned by us (e.g., TeamViewer, GoToMyPC, LogMeIn)
